Hey boh3m3!
Well, I just gotta say that I’ve been a subscriber since 2006, and I loved all your videos from that point on, and I still do. But I also love the creative direction you’ve taken with Haberdashery. I’m still a loyal subscriber on Youtube, and have this site in my bookmarks.
(One thing. In the “dickishness” video, you mentioned that you would be putting some of the old videos up on this website. Are you still gonna do that?)

Ben, you devious sod! Even I fell for it, because to be fair it was a charicature of you. I was really disappointed in you. And even with this explanation, you were totally rude to people…
Still, I’ll admit that made sense to me. You’re gonna be left with subscribers who are willing to overlook copious amounts of dickery. We may in fact be the most forgiving fan-base out there!
You know I’m totally supportive of you, as a person and an artist. I’m gonna be here for a long while. But you better not piss all over us too, or I’ll get… somewhat annoyed.

Lol thanks for throwing us off Ben! Haha I still think you’re awesome though man. I actually really do think that YouTube has been screwing over its users for quite some time now. Although it’s kind of irritating, at least I’m checking this website for any updates from you that I missed on YouTube.

If by pursuing other venues you feel you’re being more productive(which I think you are) then you shouldn’t apologize for it.
At the end of the day you’re the “entertainer”, you’re the big kahuna. Your subscribers, of whom I happen to be one, should stick with you regardless.
I think your work is brilliant, even the Vlogs. You are one of the most elloquent and articulate ppl I know both in writing and talking. That’s why I subscribed in the firstplace.
Just do what you like, and trustm, the right “subscriber base” will follow accordingly.

Although I am not one of those who un-subscribed but still Don’t mock your own hair style. I have the same hair style I have bin rocking that hair style since May of this year. Though it is a 90’s hair cut and we are just sentimental. The 90’s were pretty fun. But keep up the good work. - Thowell3

To be honest I am still subscribed to your YouTube channels incase you post something that doesn’t appear on this site. However for the most part I watch videos here for the simple fact that the quality is a lot better.

Not sure if this is related to your video, but videos you’ve viewed now disappear from your subscriptions box, like they used to. The whole ‘videos don’t fuck off when you’ve watched them’ thing was a recurring theme in the comments on your video. It might be worth watching to see if something is done about dormant accounts now.

Oh, and less than half an hour ago, I saw a video in my subscriptions box that was posted a little more than two says ago - I didn’t even know the dude had made any videos recently. Hitting ‘View All’ and trekking through the list, I saw another two videos that I’m sure never showed up on my front page.

I’ve been watching since about 2006. And from that time I’ve watched you evolve and grow as a writer, director, and complainer. The hummor, satire, and seemingly mindless yet brilliantly thought out videos have kept me entertained through my journey in college. Whenever I would have a shitty day, I would pull up one of your videos and for the 3-7 minutes that you ranted, or otherwise exhibited shenanigans, I would forget about the mountains of excriment surrounding me.
In an attempt to be philisophical yet remind my self that homework beckons: “I may not be there yet, but I’m closer than I was yesterday.” Because of this tidbit of inspiration, I’m in my junior year of school. Now I pass it on to you. No matter what direction you take, making the first step gets you closer to it than you were yesterday.
So Continue. Further evolve your artistic style. You articulate some of the most off the wall things with a bastard-ish elloquence that deserves recognition.

Desperate times require desperate measures; the time is now, and the measure was that video.
I’m not proud of it, but I did buy into the act.. c’mon, you reaching a breaking point like that isn’t THAT far off, when you think about it. Not sure if that’s a compliment or denunciation, but there it is.. take it how you will.
Although I appreciate you working on what you really enjoy spending time on, a part of me will definitely miss the classic Boh3m3 videos of old, especially the Dear Table videos, combining the angry rantings of a hobo who’s knocked down a few bottles before 9′o clock in the morning, with the articulation of a British prince (not that old bugger Charles.. one of them from medieval times or something).
I do, however, look forward to the tutorial videos, possibly might get myself involved in making some of my own videos.. I’ve had some ideas for a while, but the procrastinator in me is refusing to get up off its ass for anything other than going to see Quantum of Solace.
And.. maybe.. keep a pace of one or two rants a year? ..Just to feed the appetite of your most loyal and sincere subscribers, who, if they’re like me, still kinda find that stuff funny.

I’m not really into where it is going. Prefer the way it was before. So, at least you’ve got more accurate numbers.

I actually bought into your “act”, mainly because, well, I thought you were that much of a “whiny bitch”. However, I didn’t quite see it so much as whining, as I did being rightfully pissed off about a project you put a lot of effort into.

I have to say, B, I’ve been thinking about this and it still doesn’t make much sense to me. If you’re trying to polarise your audience into intelligent and open-minded people, and ignorant flamer assholes, you’ve probably appealed to the wrong half with that ‘please explain’ video.
You’re under no obligation to explain yourself to me, naturally, but I’m unsure of what you’re doing with this.

Looking forward to the tutorials, and still hoping you will do rants about stuff if not on youtube then vimeo. And i know the video a few days ago was a rant. lawl.

Maybe even he’s unsure, or, as he’s implied, the reaction was more of an accidental one, than what he was really hoping for. However, Thiefree, you have a point…a good point. It wasn’t exactly wise of Ben to post a video of himself yelling about You Tube’s incompetence, no matter how funny, and how disturbingly accurate it was. We have to realize, though, that Ben’s brain power falls very unevenly on both left and right sides. While he is analytical and logical, he’s also [extremely] creative, and seems to be interested in music, but, at times, can lack common sense.
I don’t think this one can be drawn down to a simple explanation, just that it was a slight mistake, it WAS entertaining, Ben enjoyed it, and now a few assholes will watch his videos, get bored of a lack of Ben-like anger, and move on, leaving only people who really care about his work, and the effort he puts into it.

Also, Thiefree, I think it’s pretty darn easy for us to forgive Ben. He’s not out there walking around in a mini skirt and lack of pantie, nor is he telling us to eat spaghetti, as it will make us thin, because the spaghetti itself, is thin.
Ben has shown us he is human, and apologizes for his slight fuck ups (also known as “humanity”), without the help of a spokesperson, a manager, a chihuahua, etc.
Ben does what he can to entertain us, does what makes him happy, and, not to sound sickeningly sappy, but he also shows us he cares.

Ben u friggen rock. Been a subscriber for a few years now. So I’ll support pretty much anything ya do.
I also like what you did with the whole videos on youtube and this site. In a way, youtube needs a little uniqueness and Haberdashery’s just what it needs. Haberdashery’s unique in it’s own way and it rocks! So to leave ur youtube channel with those videos and some classic vlogs and use ur website for most vlogs and videos of that sort. Which means I’ll be checking into this website more often.
So keep doin what ur doin Ben. Keep rockin those videos.

I’ve found myself forgiving Ben for everything. Even when he stood me up at Le Cordon Bleu, after I payed money for reservations, ordered food I was sure he’d like (when I thought he was just late), and even ordered a special glass of champagne with a wedding ring in it (I figured he could sell it for money rather than his bike).
Ben is intelligent, creative, interesting, funny, original, snarky, an asshole, but obviously also a caring person (he seems to get attached to women easily as well), he’s great at re taring my driveway, and even making straight men sound obnoxiously homosmexual, when all they’re trying to do is make you feel as wonderful, and as beautiful as you are. OH LOOK, A RAINBOW!

I must say that I have been an active subscriber for quite some time now. I have watched many of your videos more than once. I always thought you appealed to what I liked to view and I was happy.
The only thing I must say now about the last few videos is this: stop telling me (the viewer) that you are changing direction and getting rid of old videos, and defining yourself into a particular nitch. It seems that the last few “discussion” type videos were just you telling me what you will doing and if I don’t like it leave. Okay, I’m past that. Let’s go with Haberdashery and tutorials. Cool.
Maybe it’s just me, but it’s just a tad annoying to keep being fed the same idea over and over again. I will keep on watching your stuff because you are good, it’s just my little comment that you can take or leave really.

Ben, I know you’re not a whiney bitch :) and while I was rather surprised by how rude you sounded in your last video, I can appreciate the reasoning behind it. You’re right: if people aren’t watching anymore, why stay subscribed.
Your recent videos are great! I love Haberdashery, and the tutorials should be pretty amazing. Keep up the good work! I’m just glad we’re still gonna hear from you at all :D
