Cinder - Sneak Peek for boh3m3.net subscribers
by boh3m3 on Sep.23, 2008, under Exclusive Video
Sneak peek for subscribers - Cinder from boh3m3 on Vimeo.
So I’m releasing this video early to you all as a thank you to those of you who have read, commented, subscribed and such to this site in spite of the rocky start it had.
Thank you all, from the bottom of my black little heart.
…and for god’s sake, keep up the commenting. It makes me smile, in spite of all my reasons to frown.
-Ben
ALSO!
If you are tired of seeing the same shit on that most viewed and most commented list, I encourage you to share with your friends. It seems obvious youtube isn’t going to feature me again, so I need you guys on the ground to help me with the footwork.
From now on, I will only be putting out high-quality, well-crafted videos. You have my word on that. The boh3m3 channel will no longer settle for webcam vlogs and youtube drama posts. I have a higher standard for my videos now, and I’d like you all to help me get to where I want to be.
I don’t have tits, a cat, or a cheesy shtick to pander day after day to Youtube, so I don’t get much money at all from views. If I can get enough views to earn some real money, I will put most of that money towards producing better content more frequently, instead of blowing it on an iPhone and gallavanting across the country fucking groupies.
Thanks for visiting, and laugh at yourself for thinking I wasn’t coming back.
Video Description
Music by GuiltyBystander: http://www.myspace.com/guiltybystander
The necklace, before you ask, is from EDM Designs on Etsy: http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5000224
ABOUT THE VIDEO:
It’s 2:00 AM Hollyweird time and I’m finally uploading this video. Without embellishment, I’d say I worked on this teeeny weenie tiny little 1 minute and 10 second video a grand total of perhaps 10 hours.
Each element was lovingly placed, animated, and screamed at for your enjoyment by yours truly.
That’s right: I made this.
Some people thought that I had used some elaborate and heretofore unknown Apple intro template when my introduction became a sort of slick and somewhat tacky MTV-style.
Ha. Ha.
I’d like to dedicate this video to everyone that believes in me. Everyone who sees that I’m not just another worker bee that’s only good at slinging plates at a restaraunt or filing papers in some grey office.
Those of you watching this in said offices can feel free to give your manager the finger, walk out the door, and immediately regret it. There’s a recession on and you need a job, so it might have been ill-advised for you to go around flashing fingers.
To everyone that didn’t believe in me, or thought I had lost my touch, or otherwise wished me ill:
You can imagine what I’d like to say here, but I’m pressed for time and wiped out. Just imagine something nasty so I don’t have to bother with you.
Those of you wondering about the specifics on how I did the video, what fonts I used, how I rendered it without my substandard computer exploding, etc. can take a flying leap cause I’m not telling :D That would spoil all the fun of working it out for own damn selves for a change.
Love and kisses,
Zaphod Beeblebrox

Christ…that was beautiful.
The sound quality is a lot better on Vimeo than on You Tube.
I’m honestly a fan of your crappy little vlogs. It is, after all, the reason I subscribed to you in the first place.
You’ll always be a snarky asshat with a can of coke in one hand and a lit cigarette in the other. I hope you don’t remove those completely…though you did mention something about those sorts of videos on 3m3hob, right?
This is where you smile, right?
=D
=D
=D
There. Smiles to help you smile.
Now stop being such a negative “neah”, and smile because you can…and because smiling releases shit that actually makes you happier.

Very beautifully done. Well worth the time you spent on it, i’d say.
Eeee! This really excites me! I can’t wait to see what lies ahead!

Religioulus.
I believe that’s how it’s spelled.
It’s a movie coming out. It looks orgasmic.

Oh Ben, I’m so glad you’re back. From one artist to another, I’m quite impressed by the way this video turned out! You’re inspiring me to set higher goals for myself even though I don’t make videos. Thank you and welcome back! :)

I’ve been subscribed to your channel in youtube since the fall of 2006. You’ve come a long way, man.
Awesome video, beutifully done, and i can’t wait to see what the future holds for us Boh3m3 fans.
And Douglas Adam is one of my favorite authors, by the way.

Nice work, Ben. I’d love to know how you did the graphics. Email me when you have time. I remain absolutely convinced that you will succeed. Marius

Wow Ben you truly are an inspiration. I miss your videos but I know that your life must be very hectic at the moment. If you wanted to perk our interest accost the interwebs….you certainly did! Do I sense a hint of Hunter S. Thompson in there? Well I guess I should shut up before I sound like too much of a fangirl but keep up the good work and fuck the haters Boh.

Hey Ben,
I’m a long time subscriber and I’ve loved your videos all throughout. I understand some of the downs that you’ve gone through as I’ve experienced (and still do) the anxiety with figuring out what to do in life. I think you capture that realness in a lot of your videos.
As for my YT page, I mainly play acoustic guitar and goof around.
Hope to see the unraveling of your mystery scheme soon,
Eddie Zisk

[...] Has Boh3m3 Seen the Light? Honestly, I thought I’d seen the last of Ben Going. I had assumed that he’d taken his ball and gone home after resigning himself to his irrelivence on YouTube, but appearantly this is not the case: [...]

I am totally excited to see what you’ve got coming. I love all your videos so far. Everyone should subscribe to you because you freaking rule dude. I’m totally going to spam my friends and family with this, and then with the video this is a preview for. LOL

Thank you Ben for taking chances with your Art and not worrying about making Google dollars to “blow it on an iPhone and gallivanting across the country fucking groupies”.
I tip my hat to you, good sir!

Dear B ~ Although I’ve only known you a short time, I found a fabulous spirited and one really cool, brilliant new friend. Your work goes beyond creative and inspiring and explains the throngs of followers you’ve so richly have earned. Without doubt you touch so many lives and will surely go on to leave strong imprints on all the paths you travel. Always keep ‘em on their toes, sweetie….*giant huglettes* ~ R

OOooo so pretty. I want more! ah….yeah.
I’m very happy for you. Hooray for new ideas! I don’t have much more than that…..Hmm….I like seeing you express creativity!
Creativity: is a mental process involving the generation of new ideas or concepts, or new associations of the creative mind between existing ideas or concepts. An alternative conception of creativity is that it is simply the act of making something new.

It pains me to see you try to springboard into hollywood from youtube. Your material is kick-ass but you are a jack of all trades. There is an entire city of extras trying to do what you are doing – and you choose to go to that city?~!
GO to BOLLYWOOD or bro!
BTW ‘cinder’ reminds me of zoolander – except you weren’t trying to be funny.
water is the essence of moisture!
you cant be the jack of all trades and try to springboard yourself again from scratch by spreading yourself out – you need to consolidate your talent back to when it worked!

So I meant to post this 3,000 years ago, but I just never had a chance. This video was AWESOME. You can definety tell you put lots of love into every frame. Congratulations, it’s fucking fantastic.

(pausing from tapping on my Remington typewriter to get in to this century)- Gorgeous vid. Cinder was truly a work of art. And I know nothing of how it’s made, except that you never do anything the easy way, as far as I can tell ;)
Now ahem…what was that about gallivanting across country, ahh…visiting…groupies? Hmm?
:)
