Always confuses me when people talk about dating like it’s the only way to meet people. Every date I’ve ever been on has been horrendously awkward; my current boyfriend and I are still sort of planning to get around to our first date eventually.

I heard one reporter comparing this to the protest of the 60s. I don’t think Americans really have the balls those flower toting hippies had. We’ve gone soft. The optimist in me hopes goals are accomplished. Although, like you I won’t be holding my breath.

I spent last winter freezing my butt off on the streets of Cardiff in the UK, protesting for very similar reasons. We’d been lied to, betrayed by the people we’d voted into power, had our futures sold down the river… and what came of it? Nothing. We buckled, because we were scared of getting kettled, and because it was a harsh winter. There’s been riots and protests since, sure, but ultimately I think we’ve been beaten into submission.

Realistically, I think the same will happen on Wall Street. Real change to the system that oppresses the majority means actually changing the world. I just don’t know if I believe that can happen now.

Oh come on! Lets face it – all of us are visual creatures and the name of the game in gaming in GRAPHICS. I for one prefer the hunt and excitement of battle and I’m willing to toss graphic perfection out the window. (Or airlock)

Sure, game emersion can a lot of times depend of a games visual reality index but as graphic sophistication increases the game story tellers need to juice up the experience as well.
